Describing a physical thing.
So, where does the idea live?
Not within the physical universe,
It floats freely through the clouds of thought
Held by gravity,
And thus dwells within the fuzzy boundary that surrounds the cosmos.

And waves flow across the Borderland
To crash upon the shores of the Infinite Inner.
There, within their biological cathedrals dancing around the stars,
Tiny echoes reflect.
Reflect upon the gods.

And the long forgotten age of Aquarius.
New gods are treading our heavens tonight,
I can hear their footsteps.
Alien Orions, stalking souls.

Why look for monsters in the patterns of the stars?
Surely they live among those stars themselves!
Lizardmen look to our light,
Birdmen fly in our direction,
Fishmen swim those stellar seas,
But which denizens of those deeps are more monstrous than we?

Thought burns brighter than fire,
And since it exists in a spiritual reality
It’s light may disturb those gods
Watching for the next Prometheus.

The gods are but ideas
Born from mortal dreams
No less real for the circumstances of their birth
Than the solid stones of the physical universe
Itself no more than a subroutine in God’s game
An eternal intertwining of spirit and blood
Flowing in circles, a snake eating its own tail
While far away something watches.

Mysterious miracle or merely magic?
Incomprehensible changes,
Smothering familiar reality
Will alter lives.
Some will crumble and fall,
Others will stand firm and resist.

We are the light.
Each with our own unique frequency.
After passing through the dual slits in the boundary of reality
Our wave functions collapse into consciousness.
And we become the observers
